Our 1st 'Class of 1960'
50th Reunion Scholarship Washington Park High School Scholarships and Awards Program was held May 12, 2010.
Skip Foster and Jeanne Murphy were the presenters for our first Scholarship recipient,
Claudia Pulido. Claudia will be going to Gateway Technical in the fall
to pursue her dream of becoming a registered nurse. She would like to continue her education in nursing and then become a Nurse Practitioner. We wish her much success. |

Scholarship & Web Site Contributions

"Class of 1960 Scholarship Fund" of one or more $500.00 annual scholarships awarded to deserving Park High students. The scholarships are awarded in the Spring. We collected $500.00 at the
end of this last April, 2010 and awarded our first 'Class of 1960 50th Anniversary' scholarship. The contributions are tax deductible. We will provide documentation from Park High if you require it. Additionally, we're asking for contributions to continue the parkhighclassof60 web site. Our current contract runs out in the Spring of 2013.
These donations are not tax deductible. As a guide, we suggest $25.00 for the scholarship fund and $5.00 for the web site continuation, but we welcome any size contribution. The committee will establish criteria for the scholarship(s) but we are interested in your input as well, i.e. college or tech school, grade point or community service, or any number of factors.
Park High has a screening committee to "score" the applicants, but we can give them some direction as to what we're looking for in our scholarship recipient(s).

Kennedy Dr., Sturtevant, WI 53177, OR you can use Visa or Mastercard, but "myevent" charges us 5.5% plus a $.75 transaction fee, so $25.00 will wind up as $22.88. If you pay by check, please let Jeanne know what the amount is for, i.e. $25.00 scholarship, $5.00 for web site on a check for $30.00. Paying by check is more cost effective for us. Use "Park High Class of 1960 Scholarship Fund" for your tax deductible contribution.
