Working on the Reunion Committee over the years had been great fun anlong with the necessary "stuff" to put it all together.  When we were younger we worked fast and partied after the work.  Art and Chuck were our resident comedians, who kept us laughing all the time.  Those days we met at night and we all went to work in the morning.  This year was a bit different, meeting in the afternoon and having water or soda as our favorite libation.  Ken made Maid Rites for us for a lunch meeting, we really enjoyed that.  We're down to the final month of preparations.  The best part is hearning from so many of you.  Can't wait to see all of you.

Hi everyone!
50 years is just a number!I am so greatful to still be here. When I see someone and they ask my age I say, "age is just a number and mine is unlisted."
On a serious note, I have one daughter in Florida and 2 granddaughers (the oldest I raised from a baby and she is is now an RN at UCLA Medical Center in L.A.).
Some of you know I still work (at West Lawn Memorial Park) and enjoy it very much; helping people is a rewarding job. I volunteer for Hospice Alliance on those rare free moments. My husband teaches special ed at Case H.S. and we manage to do as many fun things as possible in the summer and during winter school breaks.
Look forward to seeing everyone and hope those of you who remember me will send e-mails periodically -- I promise to respond in a timely manner.

Life continues to be good to me since high school.  I met my husband, Tom, at Carroll University.  After a brief stay in Racine, we moved to Shawano, WI.  I taught special needs and elementary students for 30 years.  I was thrilled to learn that I qualified for early retirement.  Since then, we have done some traveling, especially to the Seattle area to visit our daughter and her family, with three wonderful grandchildren.  Our son has stayed in Shawano and joined the family business, Felts Construction.
We are sorry that we are unable to attend the reunion.  However, have fun.

This is a very difficult message for me to write, and my heart is very heavy.  I will not be able to attend the reunion.  I thought I was going to have surgery in October, but after the doctor looked at the MRI, he said I cannot wait until then.  Therefore, I will have surgery on August 23, and will not be able to travel by the reunion date.  Please keep me in your prayers because if my shoulder cannot be repaired, a major replacement will be required.  I hope all of you thoroughly enjoy the reunion, and I'm so sorry I won't get to see any of you.

Hello to all! How great to see messages from classmates I haven't seen in years -- Linda Beadles, Dotty Infusino among others! I've lived in Madison WI for all these years (with a timeout in Milwaukee because of business). Spent many years as a writer/creative director in advertising and marketing--now selling real estate and figure I'll do that until they find me a room temperature (as one of my elder sellers once said). Married to darling Mike Ely for the last 16 years -- no kids but much family thanks to brother/sister/cousin Cookie Sampe. Cookie's sister was Dorothy, our classmate, who succumbed to a brain tumor many years ago. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Sept!

Hi to all of my old classmates! I plan to be at the reunion, although I don't golf any more. I retired this past March and hope to figure out one of these days what I should be doing when I get up in the morning. We still live in the mountains of Colorado and love it. Have been in touch with Lynn Bratley and Sally von Gonten. Visited Racine and Milwaukee in April to celebrate Mike's mom's 90th birthday. Looking forward to a good time!

I am excited to be attending my first reunion.  Someone said it seems like yesterday, but to me it seems like someone elses life.  Names are familiar, but lost track of good friends early on, as life moved me from IA to TN to WA to CA and settling back in WA.  I lost my other half almost ten years ago, but I have two wonderful married sons, 3 grand children, 3 grand dogs, and 3 grand cats.  Hope someone remembers me, see you in september

This is a huge web site.  There's a lot to see.  Enjoyed the history of Park.   The memorial photos were a very nice touch.   When 1960 seems not so far away, its hard to imagine how many have passed on.    Just sent Judy Spencer a note, as she was kind enough to make sure I got info for the reunion.  She must not have heard me sing at the last one.   Hope to see you all in August.    Tom

Hi All!
Fantastic website.  The only reunion I attended was the 20th.  I'm fairly sure I will attend the 50th...guess I'd better dust off the Kipi and try to put faaces with names!

Hi!  I retired in 2007 from 38 years on the staff at an international school for missionaries' kids in Manila, Philippines where I taught high school science.  I had a wonderful life there, and am now living in western Colorado (Montrose), my wife's home town.  I am active in our church, do some subbing, have written a novel, and enjoy camping in the moutains around us.

Hello Class of '60.  I'm living in Sacramento, CA and loving it, especially the weather (no snow).  My son and two of my granddaughters live in Elk Grove, which is just a few miles away.  I'm a very active person, and stay pretty busy, but I like it that way.  I will decide soon whether or not I will be attending the reunion, since I have to choose between school reunion and family reunion.

Hello all!  Really like the website. The Class of 1960 committee is really into the new communications.  Amazing times we are in.  Jacque and I hope to see many of you at the 50th.  We are semi-retired and still live just outside of Nashville in Clarksville, TN and enjoy the seasons down here. We get back to Racine a couple of times a year visiting relatives and travel often to see our five children and seven grandchildren in AZ, MN & TX.  Now that our youngest (24) is just about through college in Knoxville (he is still there getting his masters & should be out by next year), we are enjoying the freedom which has been a long time coming.

We live in Rockford,IL but we love Wisconsin. We just returned from seeing all the fall colors in Bayfield, WI. We were in Door County in Sept. and we spend a week each June at Black Bear Lodge in St. Germain WI.  We take day trips to Lake Geneva, New Glarus, and Madison. I am a die hard fan of the Packers and Brewers. Our Daughter lives in Sussex Wisconsin. We probably spend more time in Wi then IL  I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

Hello to class of "60". The years go by fast. I hope your journey is all you wanted it to be. I am retired and joined all the golfing and bowling leagues that would let me in. Also I am one of those RedHatters. My haircolor has changed through the years. Once a redhead and now a bottled Blond. To keep busy I do volunteer work and I do enjoy the grandkids.
Hope to see everyone next summer.

Hi everyone.  Seems like only yesterday since we graduated.  A little bit exagerated but really, time has truly flown.   "Gone with the wind "as they say. I can't wait to "go back in time".  And to see people I have not run into since graduating.  That music on the website takes me back to the good  old days.  I had a total knee replacement last year and am awaiting surgery for a torn rotator cuff so I don't know if I will be able to do much jitterbugging, but I will give it a good try.  I retired in 2000 from the State of Wi working as a trainer in the Unemployment Compensation Dept and am enjoying life.  Winters in Florida and Summers in Racine.  Can't wait to hear about others.  Thanks for the terrific website and all the hard work of the reunion committee.  See you soon.

I can't tell you how happy I was to receive a message from my family regarding the class reunion coming up in 2010.  I live in Mesa, AZ and lived her since 1972. I am the only family member who does not live in WI, we went back twice last year to visit the family and we enjoy our trip everytime.  I am still working full time, I work at at Doctors office in Medical Records and it keeps me very busy, but I love it and have no idea when I will retire.  My husband has been retired 12 years and enjoys it very much.  We have eight children I have three and he has five, so our lives are very busy.
